Control spike feed manually or automatically
Operators control how spikes feed into the driving guns - selecting between manual load or auto-load options. In addition, the hydraulic-driven high-impact hammers provide fast, yet extremely effective, spike-driving action.
Adjust to different gauging conditions
The gauging attachment allows the operators to easily:

Push rail into the correct position to set the track gauge

Adjust for different rail heights Set the speed of the gauging process

Control the gauger settings to correctly calculate for new or worn rail
Secure tie plates during spiking
The tie nipper assembly grasps and pulls the ties up and closer to the rail during the spiking process, allowing the tie plate to be as firmly attached to the tie as possible.
